JOHN ACQUAFUL

A PhD student in Media and Communication at Bowling Green State University. My research examines how social media, identity, and political communication influence the way people perceive politics and make voting decisions. I am also exploring how emerging tools like AI and chatbots are reshaping the ways consumers and organizations interact. Beyond research, I enjoy helping new students—especially international students—find their footing in academic life and community. Having walked that path myself, I know how important it is to feel supported and connected.
